Is There Enough Rare Earth Metals For The Energy Transition?

The energy transition is one of the most important topics of our time. Although it is unclear at this time if there will be enough rare earth metals to support the energy transition, we believe recycling will play a major role. The demand for rare earth metals is increasing due to their use in clean energy technologies such as wind turbines and electric vehicles. However, there are also efforts to find alternatives. The availability of rare earth metals will depend on a combination of factors including production levels, recycling efforts, and technology advancements.
